The BC-568 uses innovative retractable hand-grip electrodes, along with standard feet electrodes. These eight BIA electrodes allow the BC-568 to go well beyond standard body composition; giving you a segmental review of what you’re made of. Why segmental? Simply put, segmental gives you more information than standard body composition monitors. This totally unique product gives individual body composition readings for each body segment- trunk, right arm, left arm, right leg and left leg. The BC-568 is especially useful for anyone who is monitoring the balance of left and right side of body or trying to build or rehabilitate a particular part of one’s body.

The BC-568 features a dual LCD for displaying current measurements, as well as advanced graphing of historical results. It has innovative backlit icons to illustrate the segmental body parts, operates on four AA batteries (included), and has a weight capacity of 330 pounds. Individuals with an electronic medical implant such as a pacemaker should not use a scale that employs bioelectric impedance analysis (BIA) as it passes a low-level electrical signal through the body which may interfere with the operation of the implant. Pregnant women should only use the weight function, other functions are not intended for use when pregnant.
