Event driven data transmission scheme

Most monitoring systems rely on frequent polling to retrieve real-time data. For large-scale IoT deployments, this generates massive data traffic and drives up communication costs. In fact, parameters such as temperature, humidity and gas concentration change relatively slowly. Our smart sensors support independent configuration for each monitoring metric and feature intelligent judgment for proactive data transmission. When using protocols that support device-initiated push (e.g. MQTT, SNMP Trap), the sensors send data at a long fixed interval by default. If readings change beyond a preset threshold during the interval, the device will immediately push the updated data. This mechanism drastically cuts down data transmission volume and communication expenses, making the solution ideal for large-scale IoT cloud systems.
